About Eva

Eva Dragoeva is a circular fashion designer, who lives by the sea and finds inspiration in nautical themes. She started exploring circular fashion and clothing re-design in 2018. You can learn more about how Eva started her journey in sustainable fashion in this feature by Fashion Brew.

Eva graduated Fashion and Textiles Design with Enterprise from the University of Portsmouth in 2011. She has since then gained certifications in Couture Tailoring from Central Saint Martins, Practical Garment Fitting from the University of Arts, London and Circular Fashion Design from both Redress Academy and EdX.

Eva is dedicated to creating clothes and accessories, which make women feel seen and this feeds her drive to find solutions that are fun, innovative and wearable. She loves exploring new methods of creating clothes, experimenting with new ideas and applying new ways of designing to her work.

Sustainability

  • Everything is made using Alice -  a pre-owned industrial sewing machine that was originally making clothes in a denim factory.

  • Everything is made from existing materials such as men's shirts and trousers, deadstock textiles and fabric remnants.

  • Original seams are kept where possible, which means less energy is used to create a redesigned garment.

  • Using the concept of one garment and many looks, alongside multifunctionality encourages keeping garments for longer.

  • New seams used provide longevity of structure - this includes French seams and re-enforced seams.

  • Packaging is plastic-free.
